A complete renovation down to the studs opens up new possibilities for this family

Doing a complete renovation can be a daunting task. We were able to work alongside this couple's contractor to create a unique kitchen in a narrow space, and add in touches of complimentary cabinetry throughout other rooms to pull everything together.

Door Styles Used:

White Oak

White Oak was the material of choice for the pantry wall across the back of this kitchen. It added a natural warmth and became the centerpiece of this space.

Onyx Stain

The colour of the cabinetry in this kitchen was painted "Onyx" by Benjamin Moore. In order to keep the space feeling large and bright, we used other bright white materials to create a beautiful contrast.

Apron Sink

This bright white apron sink was chosen to stand out against the dark cabinetry and the surrounding brass hardware.

"Not only did they do a great job on the kitchen, but bathroom cabinets, family room cabinets, laundry and mudroom. The best part is having a young family I know they will last for many years to come."

Smoke Grey

The flat sliced white oak was stained our "Smoke Grey" to add in a natural balance to the contrasting dark cabinetry and white countertops.

Purposeful Space

We were working with a narrow kitchen, so in order to maximize prep space and storage, we were able to design an island that is more narrow than the average and that would also tie the space together.

Flat Sliced Oak

The smoke grey stained oak was carried throughout the home and used in the bathrooms and family room.

Dovetail Joinery

Our clients had young children and wanted the most durable joinery to withstand the wear and tear that kids can put on furniture. This extra investment will help their new cabinetry last for decades to come.

Timeless Appeal

This contemporary entertainment unit is a creative use of space and will look good for years and years to come.
